I love growing flowers and am passionate about environmental issues. I love good food, good company and a great view with a cup of tea…or maybe a glass of local wine?

Kiwi my black lab reminds me when it’s time to stop and go for a walk.

My floral arrangements stem from a passion for the emotive power of flowers, floral design and sculptural installation.

I have a first class honours degree in Fine Art from Kingston University, London and have exhibited and held Artist residencies in New York, Barcelona, London, Exeter and Kings Lynn. I have worked as Creative at Topshop’s Oxford Street flagship store and been responsible for designing and installing window displays, creating mood boards, shop layouts and all visual merchandising whilst working as a trend predictor and style researcher. During my time on maternity leave, I began training at a local florist and discovered my real passion for floral design.Flowers are key in a wedding and can really transform a space. It’s wonderful to be a part of someone’s special day, to be able to design those elements and see them come to life. I love that the whole process comes down to us and we are responsible for every aspect, from the design to the creation to the installation. I love variety within my designs, using lots of different types of flowers within a bouquet whilst maintaining continuity. It is a privilege to work for The Good Flower Company as their Floral Designer and use the stunning British flowers from Fi’s farm and local growers. All my designs are foam and plastic free so you can be confident the arrangements for your wedding or event will be eco-friendly. Coming from a fine art background, I see flowers sculpturally and the colours of the flowers become the palette while I make sure key colours, depths and shapes work together and pop out as they would in a piece of art. Having studied abstract expressionism at art school, I am particularly interested in the real essence of your event and how it can reflect your own personality.
